Torrey Davie

Torrey Davie is a dedicated educational leader and youth advocate with over 20 years of experience supporting adolescents and families in urban communities. He currently serves as the Dropout Prevention Interventionist at Hazelwood Central High School, where he has helped transform the school into a trauma-informed environment through restorative practices, alternative education coordination, and collaborative behavior support systems. He has served in many leadership positions within urban schools in the St. Louis Metropolitan are such as Dean of Students at Lift for Life Academy and Assistant School Leader of Culture at KIPP High School.


Torrey has held impactful roles across education and community-based organizations, including Recommitment Specialist at St. Louis College Preparatory High School and Director of Youth Programs at Northside Youth and Senior Service Center, where he led large-scale initiatives, managed significant budgets, and built strong school and community partnerships. He also coordinated the D.R.E.A.M.S. High School Graduation Program, overseeing student interventions, family engagement, data-driven attendance strategies, and college and career readiness experiences.


Torrey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies from Harris-Stowe State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Educational Studies at Southeast Missouri State University. He is a Trauma-Informed Professional committed to empowering young people to overcome barriers and achieve long-term success.
