Power Over Pressure and Stress (POPS)
Fatherhood Empowerment Group
POPS, a Fatherhood Empowerment Group, is an empowering and therapeutic space for fathers and father-figures to build community, learn new skills, and embrace the joys and challenges of parenthood!
POPS will meet weekly both virtually and in person. The in-person sessions will be held on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at the Family Activity Center. Virtual sessions will be on Sundays at 3 p.m. The sessions will be facilitated by mental health clinician, Arriell Pinkston, and Life Coach and Fitness Trainer, Guiliano Buckner.
Pricing
$40 per session or $300 paid in full for 10-weeks (In-person)
$25 per session or $200 paid in full for 10-weeks (Virtual)

- Building a legacy for child/ren
- Being a provider & finances
- Prioritizing mental health
- Managing physical health & hygiene
- Singlehood, dating, and marriage
- Navigating custody/coparenting/child support
- Father’s Day slights (Being forgotten or overlooked)
- Legal concerns
- Addressing violence and anger
- Fatherless fathers (How to do what you have not been shown)
