Tatiyahna Richardson is a provisionally licensed social worker with over 8 years of serving youth and families. She has a strong passion for serving the whole of an individual, and addressing all aspects-- the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Unique to her experience, she has served in community-based settings, schools, ABA clinics, research institutions, policy initiatives, and private practice. Trained and specializing in Play Therapy, she uses an approach and belief of starting with youth and supporting ages across the lifespan through various concerns such as life transitions, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Anxiety, and culture-related symptomology.
In addition to direct clinical practice, Tatiyahna uses her platform to raise awareness and advocate for the decolonization of mental health practices and create a nurturing environment that is tailored to each client. Growing up in St. Louis, Tatiyahna provides a plethora of awareness to the impact of systems, generational habits, and progressive thinking to support her clients in meeting their desired goals, while being personable, compassionate, and holding a non-judgmental stance. Tatiyahna is understanding that life moves in ebbs and flows and encourages clients to show up as themselves, and we can work together to take care of everything else.
