Janiecia “Jay” Hill. Jay will spend her time with Equal Shares Parenting as a clinical intern.
Jay is a mental health advocate born in Northern Louisiana but raised in Southern California. She is a proud new resident of St. Louis, MO. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) and continued her education in a MSW Program with a focus on trauma and addiction. Through her academic journey, Jay has excelled both academically and socially, making the Dean's List, co-founding a non-profit organization to feed the homeless, tutoring for local schools, and contributing to organizations like the Red Cross and FEMA.
Overcoming and healing her own struggles opened her heart to a larger world of helping others heal properly. In recent years, Jay has been actively involved in the mental health and recovery community, supporting clients dealing with alcohol and substance use disorders.
In her personal life, Jay enjoys reading, traveling, playing basketball, and camping. She also has a passion for aiding her community and helping those experiencing homelessness.
