Bonita is a dedicated and compassionate Master's level Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience serving the St. Louis community. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville.
Throughout her career, Bonita has been committed to providing mental health services, grief support, and resources to individuals in need. She is particularly passionate about advocating for vulnerable populations, including our youth, those living with chronic and terminal illnesses, and individuals who have experienced grief and loss.
In addition to her hands-on work, Bonita is an accomplished public speaker and journal author, using her platform to raise awareness and advocate for those who cannot stand up for themselves. Bonita’s unwavering commitment to her community and her advocacy for those in need reflect her deep passion for social work and her dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Grief is like climbing a sideways mountain with the weight of the world on your back. After a while you get use to it but it never goes away and you will never reach the top.
