Latrece Walker serves as the first point of contact at Equal Shares Parenting. She is currently an undergrad student at Harris Stowe State University. She is majoring in psychology with plans to become a future marriage and family therapist. In her free time, she enjoys baking for her small business, Treats By Trece! While she bakes on occasion, she finds it a great pass time. Through working at Equal Shares Parenting, she intends to add a sense of warmth and care that encourages more clients to seek to work with the organization. Lastly, she hopes to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for counseling and psychology overall.

Queen Spurlock (they/them) holds a Bachelor of Social Work and Writing from Texas Christian University. They are currently a dual degree MSW/MEd student at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. They have experience in public school settings as an assistant counselor/intervention specialist (elementary/k-5th grade students) and college advisor (9th - 12th-grade students). During their time as assistant counselor, they worked with individual students and groups on behavioral and cognitive issues through social-emotional classes and counseling sessions. As a college advisor, they helped students navigate the college-going process. Outside of providing services to families, Queen enjoys listening to music, writing, painting, and traveling/learning about different cultures.

Dylan Bell (she/her) is a second-year MSW student at the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. Dylan is originally from Manhattan, New York, but has now been in the St. Louis area for almost four years as she also attended WashU for her undergraduate degree in Psychological & Brain Sciences, as well as Children’s Studies and Writing. After graduating from Brown in the Spring of 2024, Dylan plans to receive her LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in order to pursue direct clinical therapeutic work in settings like that of Equal Shares. Dylan aspires to be a provider, advocate, and partner to children and youth (ages 0-25) of all backgrounds and circumstances, as well as their families (however they made define family). She is passionate about helping those within this population achieve their fullest potential by acknowledging and building on the inherent strengths they hold as individuals and family units, as well as supporting them in accessing the resources they need to get there. She has a particular interest in working with those who have experienced any form of trauma and/or early adverse childhood experiences to address their specific behavioral and developmental needs using her knowledge and background in this area. In her free time, Dylan loves to exercise, cook, and spend time with her dogs. Dylan is thrilled to join the team at Equal Shares and is greatly looking forward to collaborating with and learning from both the staff and families at the center.
